Rate totalisers can be found in hundreds of different applications and are an important component in many manufacturing and process installations. In many cases rate totalisers are used to give an operator visual indication of flow whilst also offering the ability to transmit this crucial information to 3rd party recorders or DCS systems for data acquisition and audit trail use. They can be battery powered where no supply source is available or powered from AC or DC supplies. Operating with virtually every type of flowmeter whether it is pulse or analogue generating, and having configurable alarm outputs in case something goes wrong.
