Accuracy

Flow computers are ingenious devices.  For example, they allow oil to be measured accurately by measuring the flow and then calculating against the temperature of the oil to provide corrected volume or mass engineering units.  There are many examples of flow computer’s in action, from gas transfer stations to steam being distributed in district heating systems.  In fact, wherever liquids and gases are being transferred, sold, distributed, circulated and used, there is a good case for using a flow computer.

Performance

Contrec flow computers are available for liquid and gas duties and are available as field/wall mounting or alternatively in an explosion proof housing to the latest international standards and will work with virtually any type of flowmeter.  Options include pulse and/or 4-20mA retransmission or communications outputs to printers or SCADA control systems.
